Hi, I’m Trina!
Outdoor enthusiast, avid traveler, former athlete, reader of the classics, and lover of Hitchcock movies. Two of my greatest passions are photography and storytelling.
I first entered the wedding industry working as an assistant photographer for a wedding photography company in Washington, D.C.. These formative years helped me learn the ins and outs of the business and inspired me to build my own brand rooted in the art of idyllic narration.
My photography style is influenced by mid-century editorial fashion photography and my adoration of bygone eras. I aim to capture your love story through a lens that mixes elegance, sophistication, and modernism with a twinge of vintage nostalgia. At the heart of Verdandi is a love affair with romantic nuance, empathy, and impactful photographic composition.

MEET OUR INSPIRATION
The story of Verdandi comes from a Norse Mythological tale about the Tree of Life, Yggdrasil. In this myth, three Nornir live in the cosmos in the roots of Yggdrasil, protecting all the knowledge of the universe and the magic of the runes. From here, Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld weave the fate of man. Each Norn represents either the past, present, or future. Verdandi represents the present and her name translates literally to “that which is becoming”.
At Verdandi, our passion and drive comes from capturing each moment in which you are becoming your dream. As our name suggests, we help you live in the moment. We focus on capturing each special moment so that you can live in them and truly feel the emotion. Each and every couple we work with inspires us and we in turn take this inspiration to create imagery as stunning as every love story.
