ISHA + ARPIT

The Venue: The National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.

When Isha came to me with her Washington, D.C. elopement vision, she used one word - timeless. From there, the priority was creating heirloom imagery that mimicked the art surrounding them. Soft pastel paint strokes that tell the lovers’ story, delicate lace gloves that hold a precious ring, and grand marble spaces that echo laughter from below. All of these details were captured with intent, highlighting the in-between moments. By using large spaces with minimal, modern compositions, we created a deep sense of intimacy between these two stunning people. Inspired by a love of fine art and modern architecture, designer Isha envisioned an editorial paradise that incorporated her and Arpit’s playful nature. The result was a sophisticated editorial built with love from timeless portraiture and punctuated with sparkles of candid joy.
